KRAFTed is a stool made entirely from cardboard and a single pair of scissors. No glue, no tape, no fixings. Its structure relies on strong triangular beams, while the exterior is formed from engraved strips woven into a detailed, leather-like surface.

The project began around a ‘one tool, one material’ constraint, but it became an exploration of care within craft. I wanted to take a material tied to childhood arts and crafts, one often seen as disposable, and treat it with the same attention and precision as something precious.

The result, much like its name, plays on the contrast between high and low craft, between the humble and the refined.
